So they waited and watched for Santa Claus.

As soon as they saw his sleigh, they called out to him and told him all about Cherry Cheeks’ bad luck.

Now, Santa knew that Cherry Cheeks was a very good boy.

So he asked a snow cloud for his help. The cloud decorated the tallest tree in the forest with stars and threads of silver.

Then he asked Mrs Moon shine her light over it all. Then, ever so gently, Santa woke up Cherry Cheeks.

He opened his eyes and to his amazement he saw the tallest tree in the forest shining like silver, so bright it lit up the whole forest.
